After training, research activities and teaching genetics, molecular biology and histology, I was interested in bioinformatics which is now my area of research activity since 2000.
The CBiB (Bordeaux Bioinformatics Center) is one of the scientific and technological platforms of the Bordeaux Functional Genomics Center (CGFB). As an IBiSA-certified platform (www.ibisa.net), the CBiB fulfills research and development, service and training missions in bioinformatics.I am the Assistant Director of the CBiB. I manage bioinformatics projects to meet the needs expressed by biology laboratories.
My work focuses mainly on the analysis of NGS (New Generation of Sequences) data and more particularly on the processing of long reads data: "genome assembly", "diversity of viral species", "clonality of immunoglobulins".
